care

Switch off and unplug the lamp before cleaning or replacing the bulb. Allow the bulb and fitting to cool completely before handling. Dust the base regularly with a soft, clean and dry cloth. Clean the pleated shade gently with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum. Do not wash or soak the lampshade. Avoid abrasive cleaners, bleach, polish and harsh chemicals. Keep away from excessive moisture, direct sunlight and strong heat sources. Use only the recommended bulb type and wattage. Place the lamp on a flat, dry and stable surface. Keep the cord away from wet surfaces, sharp edges and hot objects. Periodically inspect the cord, plug, bulb holder and fittings for damage or looseness.
